Valencia (Spain), 21 october 2010.  Two employees from edinn were selected to participate in the Pioneers in Action Programme (PIP) of the CLIMATE-KIC project.

The Pioneers in Action Programme (PIP) is a programme of the EIT (European Institute of Technology ) in which edinn will realize projects in collaboration with other companies related to sustainability, energy efficiency, CO2 reduction and the battle against climate change.

The aim of Climate-KIC is to be at the forefront of this next "green" revolution, providing the research, innovation, and education needed to shape Europe's response to climate change. Their vision is "to make a step-change in Europe's innovation capacity to meet the climate change challenge".

It is a new and interesting interchange programme with the objective of creating a new generation of high-level specialists, entrepeneurs and legislators to obtain an European economy low in carbon. A practical environment will be created so the participants will develop practical knowledge on the dynamics of innovation in low carbon technologies.

Es un nuevo e interesante programa de intercambio de información que tiene como objetivo crear una nueva generación de especialistas, emprendedores y legisladores de alto nivel para conseguir una economía baja en carbono en Europa. Se creará un entorno de aprendizaje práctico, de modo que los participantes desarrollen conocimientos prácticos sobre la dinámica de innovación en tecnologías bajas en carbono.

This programme pretends to have a intersectorial multidisciplanary approach and it will therefore unite persons with different educational backgrounds. The programme will be realized in six european regions so participants can interchange their knowledge and experience in diverse contexts.
