Edinn is a private company, founded in 2004 by David Tronchoni and Carlos Lozano, that develops and sells the world leading system for the improvement of productive efficiency. Efficiency improvements make processes more profitable, competitive and ecological.

Currently (dec. 2009) edinn employs 12 persons. Sales forecasted for 2009 is 440.000 €. Since 2006, sales have increased yearly by 50%. Edinn is supported by the National Company for Innovation (ENISA) and by The society of reciprocity guarantees (SGR) . Edinn also has been supported by the Valencian Energy Agency (AVEN) , by the IMPIVA and the Valencian Council of Industry , and in some cases, by FEDER funds. Its accounts are audited by BDO Audiberia
every year.

Edinn is Premium Solution Provider member of MESA International, is member of the Valencian Association for the Automobile Industry (AVIA), the Association for Logistics (ADL) and the Institute of Electric Technology (ITE). Edinn also collaborates yearly with the Politecnic University of Valencia (Spain) and with several research institutes. 

History

At the beginning of 2004, David Tronchoni, when he was the GM of Grupo industrial Mobisa, realised that he did not have any tool that informed him about the losses of each productive process (persons and machines of any department) of the company, as well as the details of these inefficiencies and the tools to reduce them. His surprise was even bigger when he analyzed the market looking for such a tool and did not find anything.

At this moment he decided to create a company with this objective, and he associated with Carlos Lozano, because of his personal friendship and because of Carlos´ experience in technology and web-based projects.

The new product should be based on international standards of top level for which they needed a person with experience in this area. The decided to convert Enrique Civera into partner, who had worked for 2 years at Ford and 1 year in consulting. In both companies he was responsible for efficiency, ratios, efficiency auditing and training. 

Edinn means  "eden"

Edinn is the original way, in Sumerian, of how the garden of "eden" was called. Edinn´s logo emphasizes on ideas, innovation and investigation.
