How to establish the maximum speed?

Normally, maximum production speed of a production process, in case of a machine or various machines, is indicated by the manufacturer of this machine. But in reality, some products or processes never reach this production speed. When this is your case, you should configure the maximum (but to be reached) speed in edinn® M2. If you do not do so, for example the OEE, will show losses which we will never solve.

Therefore the nominal capacity (NC) or maximum production speed should be equal to the maximum speed reached per process.
If you do not know the maximum production speed of a process, you can mark the Auto option in configuration at the right of the nominal production capacity field. In this way, when edinn® M2 detects a production speed that is higher than the configured one, it will update itself with the new speed. The system "learns" what is the maximum production speed.
