Solico, one of the leading companies in the food sector specializing in high-quality solutions, has selected edinn as its production control platform (Manufacturing Execution System or MES) and Industry 4.0 solution for its new pizza production line at its plant in the United Arab Emirates, in Dubai.

The project covers the entire production process, from dough preparation to freezing and packaging, ensuring efficiency, control, and traceability. Additionally, the solution integrates with the company’s ERP, allowing management of production, planning, inventory, and traceability of raw materials and finished products.
The project will be implemented in phases. In this first stage, the processes of kneading, rolling, and forming have been addressed, with thorough control of pizza production (including waste and rework) and raw material consumption with their respective batches.
The installation has been carried out on Solico’s own servers, ensuring security and full control of the technological infrastructure.
With this initiative, Solico takes a decisive step in its industrial digitization and process optimization strategy, relying on edinn to improve efficiency at every stage of pizza production.
