Solico, one of the leading food companies specializing in high-quality solutions, uses edinn‘s production control platform (Manufacturing Execution System or MES) and Industry 5.0 on its pizza production line at its plant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Control of production, planning, stock, and traceability
The project covers the entire production process, from dough forming to freezing and packaging, guaranteeing maximum efficiency, control, and traceability. The solution is fully integrated with the company’s ERP, allowing management of production, planning, stock, and raw material and finished product traceability in real time.
Following the system startup, which addressed kneading, rolling, and forming processes with comprehensive control of waste, rework, and batch raw material consumption, the platform has continued to evolve to adapt to the plant’s needs.
As the latest update, the results description of the edinn platform has recently been incorporated in Arabic and Persian, allowing the local team to view and interpret all reports and analytical data directly in these languages.
The installation remains hosted on Solico’s own servers, guaranteeing security and total control over its technological infrastructure.
With this update, Solico reinforces its industrial digitalization and process optimization strategy, relying on edinn to improve efficiency and facilitate daily operations at the plant.
