03 Dec Edinn wins the Most Innovative Company Award by the automotive companies
Last thursday, November 30th, Edinn received the Most Innovative Company Award voted by the members of AVIA, the Automotive Cluster of Valencia Region. This cluster is formed by more than 80 companies in the sector, with SMEs and multinationals participating in different industrial sectors related to the manufacture of vehicles.
This award recognizes the hard work of the entire Edinn team. They have developed an Industry 4.0 platform that today has more than 100 projects carried out in 12 countries with more than 3,000 active users. The Edinn platform incorporates tools for Production Control (Manufacturing Execution System, MES & MOM), for the optimization of production through Operational Intelligence (Operational Intelligence, OI), Big Data tools and Machine Learning, and thanks to the Edinn API, it allows clients and suppliers to develop anything on it, which makes it an open platform.
One of the main goals in innovation of the company has been precisely the development of an API Platform that allows to carry out new developments and improvements, as well as the integration of any external application.
In the words of Edinn’s CEO, David Tronchoni, “we are working every day to make our platform more and more open, so that any client or its technological provider can innovate and develop on it with minimum knowledge. […] We need to continue innovating if we want to lead this challenge globally. It is an opportunity to be more profitable, more competitive, more productive and more efficient.”
The award was given as part of the celebration of the II Motor Night at the Westin Hotel facilities in Valencia, and the event was organized by the Automotive Cluster of the Valencian Community, AVIA, of which Edinn is an active member.
